Apply sufficient lotion evenly over dry hair

Once scalp is covered from root to tip, allow hair to dry naturally

Leave on hair for at least 8 hours or overnight

Wash hair with normal shampoo, rise thoroughly with water and dry

Repeat the treatment after seven days

How do you use Hedin 4% Lotion?

Always read the full pack instructions before you start. Apply sufficient lotion evenly over dry hair ensuring the scalp is fully covered. Use fingers to work the Lotion into the hair and make sure it is covered from root to tip. Allow the hair to dry naturally and leave the Lotion on for at least 8 hours or overnight. Once the time is up, rinse or shampoo the lotion out along with the head lice and eggs. Ensure the process is followed 7 days after the first treatment, failure to do so may results in reinfestation.

How does Hedrin 4% Lotion work?

Hedrin 4% Lotion works over an 8-hour period using a physical mode of action to kill head lice and eggs, so is ideal to apply to children’s hair before they go to sleep or before they play for the day. It is clinically proven to eradicate head lice, is skin friendly, odourless and easy to apply.

Does Hedrin 4% Lotion kill eggs too?

How often can I use Hedrin 4% Lotion?

Treatment of head lice using Hedrin 4% Lotion should be repeated 7 days after the first use. This must be done to complete the treatment properly.

Can I use Hedrin 4% Lotion when I am pregnant?

Hedrin 4% Lotion can be used during pregnancy. Always talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine in pregnancy. Medicines can affect the unborn baby.

Can you use Hedrin 4% Lotion on coloured hair?

Hedrin 4% Lotion has not been tested for use on permanent, semi-permanent or temporary hair dyes. We recommend applying the formula to a small test area of hair before commencing treatment. If in doubt you can always consult a hairdresser. It is not advisable to use Hedrin 4% Lotion directly before colouring or bleaching because it may prevent the colour taking to the hair.

Can you use Hedrin 4% Lotion on hair extensions?

Hedrin 4% Lotion has not been tested for use on hair extensions meaning it’s difficult to know whether products will affect them. Hair extensions could block products from coming into contact with head lice, but not necessarily though. If in doubt consult a hairdresser.
